| Biography I have got my PhD in Social Psychology at Northeastern

Research interests
My background is social psychology, specifically social cognition. I am interested in health communication and investigating various factors (including individual tailoring)
that influence motivation, unhealthy self-destructive and addictive behaviors. In general, in my research work my goal is to apply psychological theories to investigate factors that lead to individuals addictive behaviors or may promote behavioral changes.
I am designing and programming online experiments to investigate effective ways to exploit computer technologies for health behavioral interventions.

Other interests I am interested in computer science,specifically, Object Oriented Programming Java and PHP languages, programming web-based experiments and using computers for
tele-medicine and facilitation of doctor-patient interactions. One of the current projects is developing an online consultation facility for pediatric nephrology patients in Russia.
